The 22nd International Conference on Diffusion in Solids and Liquids (DSL2026), will be held from 22 to 26 June 2026 on the beautiful island of Rhodes, Greece. Researchers affiliated with CFS Lab and the University of Bologna are convening a special session titled "Fluid Flow, Energy Transfer, and Design (SS1).

This special session welcomes contributions on analytical, computational (CFD), and experimental aspects of fluid flow and energy transfer relevant to science and technology. It is intended as a platform for exchanging experiences and information, enlivening academic thoughts, and promoting the further development of research in these disciplines.

Stanford University has once again unveiled its annual ranking of the world’s top 2% most influential scientists, marking the fifth consecutive year of this global recognition. Developed in collaboration with Elsevier BV, the ranking is based on comprehensive citation metrics from Scopus, covering all scientific disciplines.

We are proud to announce that Luiz A. O. Rocha and Antonio F. Miguel, two members of our research Lab, have been consistently featured in this ranking since its inception. In the latest 2024 update, both scientists continue to rank among the top 2% of the most influential researchers worldwide in their disciplines. ​
