DSL 2025
The 21st International Conference on Diffusion in Solids and Liquids (DSL2025) will take place in Naples, Italy, from 23-27 June 2025. The CFS Lab affiliates organize a special session on "Fluid Flow, Energy Transfer, and Design (SS1)".
This special session welcomes contributions on analytical, computational (CFD), and experimental aspects of fluid flow and energy transfer relevant to science and technology. It is intended as a platform for exchanging experiences and information, enlivening academic thoughts, and promoting the further development of research in these disciplines.

SYMCOMP 2025
The 7th International Conference on Numerical and Symbolic Computation Developments and Applications will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 10-11 April 2025. The CFS Lab affiliates organize a mini-symposium on "Simulation and Optimization of Fluid Flow, Heat and Mass Transfer".
This mini-symposium aims at providing a forum for presentation and discussion of scientific results concerning both numerical and optimization problems specific to fluid flow, heat and mass transfer in science and engineering.

For the fourth consecutive year,  Stanford University has released its updated database of the top 2% of the most influential scientists in their scientific fields. This ranking, in collaboration with Elsevier BV and the SciTech Strategies Inc, is based on Scopus data.
​
We are proud to announce that two of our scientists, Luiz A. O. Rocha and Antonio F. Miguel, rank among the 2023 top 2% of the world’s most influential researchers. Both scientists have been recognized in this Stanford ranking in previous years as well.
